    @wildeyednorthernboy Those are wheels to help with long cuts. Keeps me from shaking and having a rough cut. You can find them on Pipe fitter dot Com. Click on Flange Wizard and scroll down. Also has a hole cutter guide.

    Thanks for posting

  • wildeyednorthernboy:

    @kevincaron

    We don’t have blow back fuses at my work. They don’t cost much but the company seems like doesn’t care about it. Too bad since most of the people light the torch using acetylene only :S

    I’ve checked the site and most of Your videos already :) Looking forward to see new ones soon. Take care Kevin.

  • kevincaron:

    @Hoothate Not to worry. The old gloves are gone and the torch has blow back fuses already..

    But thanks for the great tips.

    If you get the chance please stop by my site and check out the rest of my work.

  • Hoothate:

    If I may suggest You something on using an Oxygen-Acetylene torch – don’t use dirty gloves – clean oxygene may put them on fire and You may get burned.
    In case You don’t have fuses on the Oxygen-Acetylene cables – add a little bit of oxygene when You light the torch otherwise there is a risk the fire may get sucked throught cables to the acetylene bottle.

    @studio619 Thank you! What would you like to see next? Got a question? How can I help in my self-taught, non certified way?
    Don’t forget to stop by my website. Got lots more to see over there.

  • studio619:

    You are GREAT. Someone to explain to the novice. I really appreciate your videos.

  • VisorBlue:

    @kevincaron Definitely on my soon to do list!

    @kevincaron
    I don’t have one, but you can find several videos on youtube. In the hands of a skilled craftsmas, I think it could be a great tool in ones arsenal of pyro :D

  • kevincaron:

    @VisorBlue Maybe some day you can bring it by and I can play with it for a while..

  • VisorBlue:

    Nice video, as usual. While you tend to create your magic with serious steel and need a big tip on the O/A for cutting/heating, you just happen to know someone with a Henrob – Cobra – DHC2000. :-)

    I like the commentator asking the questions for us, too.

    @freddytk421 I did see a bunch of different tips for the O/A torch in the Navy. I have never looked for them in the real world. Thanks for the great tip!

  • freddytk421:

    plus you can get really tiny cutting tips for the oxy torch for sheet metal.

    Thanks! I was impressed by a Chicago lighting artist’s plasma cutter. The gee whiz factor. Both tools have their place. I’d likely find the gas unit to fit my current needs well enough.

  • kevincaron:

    @CBaughman Then you have my condolences.

    Joking, just joking.. I have no experience with a Henrob. Can you post up a video so we can see what you have and how it works? We are all trying to learn here, even me.

  • kevincaron:

    @pberglin Thanks. I was hoping it would look cool from your side of the camera. Nice to know I got it right.

  • CBaughman:

    Good video…but what if you have a Henrob/Cobra Oxy Acetylene Torch :)

  • pberglin:

    Good Video, the side shot side by side helped alot to see the difference
